A short film for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), which I produced, scripted and gathered content. CIMMYT helps maize and wheat smallholder farmers in Africa, Asia and Latin America adapt to challenges like climate change, emerging pests and malnutrition. This film highlights the important and valuable contribution of the five agricultural experimental stations CIMMYT operates throughout Mexico.
A short wildlife film I produced, scripted and filmed that documents the Atlantic puffin breeding cycle, from their return to shore in early spring to fledging of young pufflings in late summer at the Isle of May National Nature Reserve, Scotland. Scientists have recorded a dramatic population decline among the puffins in recent years, the reasons for which are explored with the guidance of renowned seabird scientist Professor Mike Harris.
A short timelapse showing the construction of an ex situ coral nursery on Mahe, Seychelles. The project is a partnership between Le Meridien Resorts and the Marine Conservation Society Seychelles (MCSS). The coral reefs of the Seychelles have suffered catastrophic damage from ocean warming events, leaving less than 1 percent of live coral cover. MCSS hopes to restore many Seychelles reefs by 'gardening' corals in coral nurseries.
